“A sincere artist is not one who makes a faithful attempt to put on to canvas
what is in front of him, but one who tries to create something which is, in
itself, a living thing.”
Art and culture are the unspoken languages which are
understood and enjoyed all over the world. The Lalit Kala Sansthan of visual and
performing arts, a self financing institute of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, is
one such institution where this universal language is preached.
Established in November, 2000 this institute is a centre of diverse arts and a
mirror image of the world around us. The teachers here not only aim at teaching
the students to express their thoughts but also guide their thoughts towards the
right direction. Students are encouraged to expose their creativity with
independence as each student has a distinct way of expression and depiction.
